CFR Annual Dinner

The CFR Annual Journal Dinner is a once yearly celebration of the Center’s outreach efforts, and is our major fundraising campaign. It has been held consecutively for the last twenty eight years.

The Dinner Campaign raises funds in three ways:

      1. The campaign offers the opportunity to show support for the  enter’s  work  and  to pay tribute to the honorees through the purchase of ads in a published Dinner Journal.

      2. Through the couvert charge for reservations made for those attending the dinner,

      3. The Dinner Raffle. 

The Dinner is a formal affair with a short but extremely inspirational program. The evening’s Masters of Ceremonies are the dinner honorees themselves, who personally testify to the work of the Center and explain why they are involved. Both corporate and collegiate speakers movingly address the effect CFR has had on their lives.

The 2009 Annual Dinner will take place on December 6. A lavish smorgasbord reception begins at 6:00 PM and continues until the dinner at 7:00 PM. The program begins at 7:15 and goes until 7:45 PM.
A highlight of entertainment is the Dinner Raffle in which we award 20-30 exciting prize packages consisting of close to one hundred gift items to winning dinner raffle purchasers.

Grace after meals is at 9:15 PM, followed by a delicious Viennese desert buffet table.
A night at the CFR Dinner is an experience that will be long remembered by all who attend.

The Annual Dinner Campaign has a low overhead, making it highly cost effective.
Active participants may also choose to help administrate the dinner campaign.
